Dr. Gonzalez, or “Dr. G,” is a native Texan, who returned to The Lone Star after completing an educational and military tour of the world.  He received his dental degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania which included overseas externships in Thailand. After dental school, he was commissioned as a U.S. Air Force Captain and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center in Ohio. He then served our military members and their families in multiple Air Force hospitals in Japan as a general dentist.
After completing an honorable military career, he continued onto pediatric specialty education at Children’s Hospital Colorado, one of the world’s top-ranked pediatric hospitals.

Dr. G considers himself very blessed to be able to serve his community alongside his wife Dr. A. He enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. He loves eating and his favorite food is anything Dr. Ana puts together in the kitchen. He really enjoys dates with his wife, spending time with their sons and running with his dog Lola.

Dr. Ana or “ Dr. A” finished at the top of her class when she received her Dental Degree in 2004 from the University Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho in Venezuela.  Immediately after graduation, she moved to the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, where she completed in 2007 her Orthodontic Residency at the Gamma- Filho University. In 2012, she relocated to the US to pursue her love for pediatrics and completed her second specialty residency in pediatric dentistry at the prestigious UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Ana is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, English, and Italian. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband (Dr. Gonzalez), their sons Thomas, Lucas, and their dog Lola. She is passionate about traveling, experiencing new cultures and foods.

Dr. A considers herself very blessed and fortunate to be able to practice in a family-owned and operated kids dental office alongside her husband.

Dr. Maria Jose Cervantes or “DR C” earned her dental degree at the Intercontinental University at Mexico City (UIC). After working as a general practitioner, she completed her pediatric dental residency at UT Health San Antonio and earned a master’s degree in orthodontics at UIC.

Currently, she serves as the Postdoctoral Program Director in Pediatric Dentistry. As a full-time faculty, she provides didactic and clinical teaching for both pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students. Her research interests include human growth and development, cleft lip and palate, restorative materials, and caries prevention.

Dr. C Loves to spend time with her family, experiencing new cultures, and enjoying her favorite food Italian and Japanese.

Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Alfonso obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, DDS in 2003 (UGMA). His interest in orthodontics turned into a passion for providing stunning smiles and watching the impact of such changes in patient’s confidence and self-esteem. He then received his Diploma in the Specialty of Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics in 2006 from the Technological University of Mexico, (UNITEC). Dr. Alfonso then returned to his home country, Venezuela to devote himself to private practice and in 2014 Dr. Alfonso and his family decided to relocate to the US to start a Fellowship in Orthodontics at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he got the chance to update his knowledge and experience in new techniques and technologies like the use of Clear Aligner Therapy and the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography in surgical planning of patients needing Orthognathic surgeries.
In 2016 Dr. Alfonso was accepted into the Orthodontic Residency Program at UF and in 2018 obtained his second Certificate in Orthodontics.

The journey continued to San Antonio where along with his wife, Angie, and their sons Juan Pablo and Mateo, they found an amazing city that provides countless opportunities to explore and enjoy a family-friendly environment with great people waiting to welcome them. When Dr. Alfonzo. has some free time outside of the office, he and his wife are finding outdoor activities to drain JP’s and Mateo’s endless energy.
